The Vogtland team from BC Erlbach secured promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with an impressive 5-0 win against Frickenhausen at the relegation tournament in Frankfurt. The three season winners of the regional leagues, namely Frickenhausen, Frankfurt and Erlbach, took part in this tournament. Two newcomers were identified that day.
