The initiators of the fundraising campaign, Stefanie and Frank Clement, motivated the participants: Their son Sebastian died of lymphocytic leukemia last year, which made the urgency and importance of supporting children with cancer all the more noticeable to them. Karl-Heinz Dravec from TSV Lichtenwald expressed surprise at the high willingness to donate and the large number of individual donations, including a remarkable donation of 400 euros, which Kirsten Guggenmos pointed out.
