An exciting exhibition is currently being offered in the city of Sindelfingen, which provides insights into the work of the master students at the Karlsruhe State Academy of Fine Arts. This “TOP_0025” exhibition is the first public appearance of this year’s graduates of the Fine Arts course and marks the 25th anniversary of the master student exhibition tour. The opening took place on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. and the exhibition will be open until the end of June. On display are works by artists such as Lucia Mattes, who created felt works with animated motifs, and Elisa Rungger, whose monumental painting “Cherry Blossom” captivates visitors. The works of Catalena Janitz, who presents large-format images of the female body, are also part of this multi-layered exhibition.
The Schauwerk Sindelfingen, which was founded in 2010 by Peter Schaufler and Christiane Schaufler-Münch, serves as host. It houses a top-class private art collection with over 3,500 exhibits, including works by important artists such as Anselm Kiefer and Andreas Gursky. The focus of the current collection is on minimal art, conceptual art and ZERO artists. This new exhibition is complemented by an examination of painting, particularly the female body and surreal landscapes.
