Arson in Magstadt: 30-year-old arrested for attempted murder!
On October 25, 2025, a 30-year-old man was provisionally arrested in Magstadt after he was suspected of having committed serious arson with potentially fatal consequences. According to information from SZBZ, the investigation was taken over by the criminal police, who also want to clarify the motive for the crime. The crime occurred on the night of October 23rd at 12:05 a.m. when the man set fire to a box of clothing on the wall of the closed restaurant “s’ Schwoba Eck”.
This restaurant is located on the ground floor of an inhabited apartment building where people were staying at the time of the arson. Due to the dangerous nature of the crime, the Stuttgart public prosecutor's office issued an arrest warrant on strong suspicion of attempted murder and serious arson. The suspect was brought before a judge on Saturday afternoon and then sent to a correctional facility.
