TSV Münchingen is aiming for a double victory: title fight within 4 days!

TSV Münchingen has presented itself in an impressive manner in the last few days and the possibility of winning two titles within four days is considerable. On May 28, 2025, TSV won the quarter-finals of the district cup with an impressive 8-2 against FV Löchgau II. This result shows how strong the team is on the pitch and what it can achieve in the final. The decisive cup final will take place on Thursday at 5 p.m. in Bietigheim against TASV Hessigheim. Another big adrenaline rush is coming up on Sunday when the team has the chance to win the championship in the district league A2 at SV Leonberg/Eltingen II, which would mean a return to the district league after just one year.

The year 2025 is also a very special one for TSV Münchingen, as the club is celebrating its 100th anniversary. These anniversary celebrations not only provide an excellent opportunity to celebrate the club's successes, but also to further promote women's and girls' football within the club. The head of department at TSV Münchingen has announced that he will be quitting after this season, which also leads to a certain melancholy among the supporters.

Success of the women's team

German women in football have also attracted a lot of attention recently. The German national team reached the final of the European Championships, but had to admit defeat in an exciting match against England. Despite the narrow defeat, the team won the hearts of the spectators and shows the potential of women's football.

TSV Münchingen has an important role in this context. Girls and women have been playing football here for years. In the 2022/23 season there will be five junior and three active teams, with a total of around 150 girls in different age groups. To further stimulate interest, the club invites girls aged 9 to 13 to a trial training session. The training sessions take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., on the artificial turf and the grass field, and Alexander Horvath is the contact for anyone interested.

The combination of the club's historic successes, the challenges in the upcoming decisive games and the constant growth of women's football predestines TSV Münchingen to remain a significant player in the region.
