Students from the Würmtalschule experience an exciting day at the Heidehof!
Class 3a of the Würmtalschule Merklingen went on an exciting trip to the Heidehof in Merklingen on June 5th. The students met at school for the first lesson and set out on the path that led them along a field path and past the festival hall.
On their way, the children met the grandmother of a classmate, who accompanied them to their destination with two dogs. When they arrived at the Heidehof, the students were treated to an interesting tour of the farm, led by the mother of one of the students. They had the opportunity to see various animals such as sheep, horses, chickens, rabbits and even a runner duck.
A variety of activities at Heidehof
The Heidehof offered the students numerous opportunities to play and discover. The children were able to engage with a variety of vehicles including bikes, scooters, go-karts and skateboards. A special attraction was the homemade farm ice cream, which the children enjoyed enthusiastically.
At the culmination of the excursion, there was an exciting grain quiz that put the students' newly acquired knowledge to the test. The visit to the Heidehof was not only educational, but also great fun for everyone involved.
