On Saturday afternoon, June 15, 2025, the fire department in Gäufelden-Öschelbronn was alerted to a fire. At around 3:20 p.m. a fire broke out in the leisure property on Mötzinger Strasse, which affected several properties. A thuja hedge about six meters high and a mobile home were affected, which burned down to the base frame during the incident.
The cause of the fire is currently unclear. The fire brigade deployed a large force to prevent the flames from spreading. Thanks to their quick reaction, the fire was successfully stopped from spreading to an adjacent garden shed. Despite the successful firefighting, the total damage amounts to around 5,000 euros, as reported by Stuttgarter Nachrichten.

The press portal also describes that the fire not only affected the mobile home, but also various garden furniture. The heavy, meter-high smoke development made the entire situation particularly worrying. Fire brigade crews were quickly on site and were able to quickly bring the fire under control.
