Ms. Fischer, the head of the Sindelfingen Psychological Counseling Center, will host the evening.
In the film, viewers follow Charleen, a 15-year-old girl who has no interest in her family or school. She becomes increasingly preoccupied with death and ultimately attempts suicide. Luckily she is saved and has to undergo psychotherapy. There she meets Linus, which leads to a humorous friendship and permanently changes her view of life. This audience discussion will address how to deal with the hunger for life and the longing for death as well as focus on communication about suicide, which is of great importance in today's society.

The Mental Health Action Week aims to draw attention to the importance of mental health. Suicidality, which includes thoughts of suicide, risky behaviors, suicide attempts, and completed suicides, is a deep societal problem. People in crisis situations, such as those caused by incurable illnesses or experiences of violence, are particularly at risk. According to data from the Robert Koch Institute, people with severe mental disorders are particularly affected, with the strongest risk factor being a previous suicide attempt. Prevention measures are crucial to reduce the risk.

The prevention of suicide can be effectively strengthened through several measures. These include:
