May devotions in different contexts
A similar concern was pursued in the May service at the Hollabrunn State Hospital, as reported by the State Health Agency website. There, Gabriele Granser, BA, a Catholic pastor at the clinic, organized a prayer service in the clinic chapel.
The aim of this devotion was to give patients the opportunity to celebrate and gain strength together. After the service, those present were invited by the clinic management to an agape, which was prepared by the kitchen team. Such joint events also promote exchange and discussions among the participants.
Overall, such May devotions, such as those in Haus i. Both in the forest and in clinics, people have the opportunity to connect in community and work on their challenges. They help ensure that the devotions traditionally held in May are also adapted to modern times.
