Attempted burglary in Spiegelau: Police are investigating a series!

On the night of Thursday, July 4, 2025, an unknown perpetrator tried to break into a bar in Spiegelau. The incident occurred in the community in the Freyung-Grafenau district, where the perpetrator tried to force open the side entrance door with an unknown object, but failed. Despite the failed attempt, property damage was in the three-digit range. This is reported by the Passauer Neue Presse.

This is not the first break-in attempt at this bar. There was a similar incident a week earlier in which the perpetrator was also unable to gain entry. The police in Grafenau are now checking whether there is a connection between these incidents and a current series of burglaries in the district. The situation in Spiegelau
