Church service Back to the future: Experience inspiration in Böblingen!

The “Back to the Future” service will take place in Böblingen on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. This special event will take place in the Free Evangelical Community of Böblingen, on Hanns-Klemm-Str. 9, celebrated. Krzbb reports that the experienced preacher Prof. Dr. Christoph Schrodt from Bad Liebenzell will give the speech. His topic deals with liberating encounters with God and the willingness to let go.

Prof. Dr. Schrodt is a professor at the International University of Liebenzell and has completed extensive studies in Protestant theology in Basel, Erlangen and Ewersbach. He has also been a guest lecturer at the Academy for World Mission in Korntal since 2010 and is currently conducting research as part of his habilitation at the University of Leipzig.

Special program items

Journalist Petra Hahn will moderate the service. The service will be accompanied musically by Michael Schulte and his music team. A book buffet as well as coffee, tea and cold drinks are available to visitors in the foyer. A children's program in age-appropriate groups ensures entertainment for the youngest participants during the service. Parents with small children (0-3 years) have the opportunity to participate via broadcast in the family room. Merger of the parishes in Böblingen

In addition, the Protestant parish of Böblingen is facing significant change: From January 1, 2025, the Martin Luther Church, the city church, the Christ Church and the Paul Gerhardt Church will merge to form a unified parish.
