Thank you party at the animal shelter: Volunteers save animals with heart!

The Böblingen district animal shelter recently held a thank you party to pay respect and recognition to the around 30 volunteer animal lovers who are actively involved. These dedicated helpers support the animal shelter by cleaning, walking and lovingly petting the animals. In her speech, the head of the animal shelter, Bianca Heidenreich, praised the tireless commitment of these volunteers on behalf of the animals.

Wolf Eisenmann, board member of the animal shelter, agreed with these words and also expressed his thanks for the valuable efforts of the helpers. Why this commitment is so important is shown not only in the care of the animals, but also in the placement of animals in new and loving homes. The Böblingen animal shelter is responsible for found animals, surrendered animals and confiscated animals, especially dogs, cats and various small pets.

Commitment and support are required

The Böblingen district animal shelter is still looking for new volunteers. Anyone interested in getting involved can contact Bianca Heidenreich directly by email. Information about animals looking for new homes is available on the shelter's website: kreistierheim-bb.de.

In addition to the daily work, the animal shelter has also set up an animal boarding facility that takes in pets while their owners are away. Here, cats are housed in shared rooms while dogs are cared for in individual accommodation. A tour of the guesthouse rooms is possible after prior contact, with the contact details provided on the website.

The district animal shelter recently received a significant inheritance of 25,000 euros from the estate of Ingrid Kinzler. Such financial donations are essential in order to be able to optimally care for the animals. Donations are always welcome and donation receipts are issued. The contact for donation inquiries is Jasmin Traub, who can also be reached by email.
