SENSATION in the Harz: Athletes compete in thrilling duels at DM!

In a breathtaking spectacle in the Harz that excited the entire biathlon community, the German Summer Biathlon Championships 2023 took place in Clausthal-Zellerfeld. It was an event that not only heated up emotions, but also put the athletes' nerves to a harrowing test. The highlights experienced here are simply INCREDIBLE!

With the Sonnenberg as a unique venue, the athletes showed that they are capable of top performance. The organization by the Buntenbock Ski Club was flawless, but what the athletes achieved on the track set new standards! In thrilling sprint races ranging from 2.4 km for students to 4 km for juniors and men, the competition exploded with every second!

Thrilling decisions – head-to-head racing!

The tension was unparalleled: In the female student category, sensationally, only 2.8 seconds separated first from second place! For women II it was only a tiny gap of 2.5 seconds! In the junior class, the fight for the title was exciting right up to the last second - here just 1.2 seconds decide whether you win or lose. These breathless battles remain in your memory!

This was countered by the dominant victories! Lukas Bürki in the juniors and Nina Strack in the women's III won with a fantastic lead of no less than 90 seconds! Who doesn't immediately think of the absolute superiority of these athletes?
