SENSATIONAL APPEAL: WHO WILL BE THE NEW TRAFFIC PROTECTION ANGEL IN Feucht?
In a stunning push to improve the safety of our littlest road users, Feucht became the scene of a memorable event! On July 11, 2025, Mayor Jörg Kotzur honored the heroic traffic helpers who are on the front lines of traffic safety every day. These selfless volunteers work tirelessly for the well-being of children and especially accompany first graders when crossing dangerous roads. These are true guardian angels who provide a brilliant service in a time when driving feels like just a race against time!
Unbelievable but true: In the current school year, not a single route to school was accident-free! This is shocking evidence of the vital role transportation workers play in our community. Currently, 80 of these non-profit rescuers are active and are fighting the decline in the numbers of their colleagues, which have fallen alarmingly in recent years. Mayor Kotzur warns urgently that we urgently need new heroes to take on this valuable task.
The importance of road safety

In addition to support in the school system, volunteers are also wanted for traffic lessons in daycare centers and elementary schools. It's not just a job - it's a mission!
