Construction sites, festivals and train connections: This is how you come to jazzops!

From July 2 to 13, 2025, the annual jazzopen takes place on the Stuttgart Schlossplatz. Music lovers can look forward to a diverse program that presents both local and international artists. The opening evenings offer appearances by Jesus Molina and the band Ezra Collective.

Despite ongoing construction work in the S-Bahn network, the S-Bahn Stuttgart , that an arrival is possible without any problems. The events are easily accessible from the S-Bahn stations Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (deep) and Stuttgart Stadtmitte.

The Jazzopen offers many other events in addition to the appearances already mentioned. In addition to the jazzopen, the Kessel Festival will be held on the Cannstatt Wasen on July 4th and 5th, which takes place near the Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt station. The S-Bahn lines S1, S2 and S3 are available for arrival to this event, which run in maximum possible train lengths.

The popular teddy shows that take place from July 11th to 13th in the MHP-Arena are also easy to reach. The S-Bahn stops at the Neckarpark, which makes access to the shows considerably easier. The trains of the line S1 to Herrenberg and Wendlingen drive until late at night on the respective days.

The jazzopen is not only celebrated in Stuttgart. From 2026 the festival will also take place in Modena, Emilia-Romagna. The premiere there is planned for the period from July 13th to 18th, 2024, after the Stuttgart edition.
