New Bar Brother Louis at Marienplatz: Stuttgart's trend location for 2025!
The new bar “Brother Louis” opened its doors at Marienplatz in Stuttgart. Operators Uwe Heine and Tobias Lindner opted for a quiet opening without any fuss. An official inauguration ceremony is planned for the next two weeks. The bar has moved into the former Madagascar restaurant and has undergone a major renovation to create a modern, inviting space.
The new rooms are characterized by large arched windows, sound-absorbing room dividers and modern lighting, which ensure a pleasant atmosphere. The bar is open every day except Monday and offers services from Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Diverse cocktail menu and snacks
A highlight of the menu are the cocktails, which are divided into three categories. Under the motto “Petit Pour”, small, low or non-alcoholic drinks are available to choose from. “Classics” offers an in-house white wine cuvée called “Le Juicy – Louis Blanc” as well as Kölsch for just 2.50 euros. In the third category “Louis’ Classics” you can find creative variations of cocktail classics.
The snacks offered in the bar come from the kitchen of Konstantin “Coco” Kuld from the Im Künstlerhaus restaurant and promise a combination of high-quality ingredients and creative preparation methods. The bar also cooperates with winemakers to create its own wine products such as “Louis Blanc” and “Louis Rouge”. For gourmets, there will also be oysters available from November 15th, which will be served on Saturdays with sparkling wine.
New trend in the Stuttgart gastronomy scene
“Brother Louis” is one of a number of new gastronomic openings in Stuttgart. In the last few weeks, several creative restaurants have emerged, including the Wildbakers on Tübinger Straße, which impresses with unique bread creations, and Café Mira on Pfarrstraße, which combines Swabian and Argentinian cuisine. These new offers show that Stuttgart continues to be an innovative place for gastronomy.
The new bar on Marienplatz has great potential to integrate into the city's lively gastro scene. The mix of modern cocktails, an appealing ambience and a carefully selected menu will certainly attract numerous guests. The opening of “Brother Louis” could be the start of a new trend in Stuttgart’s bar and restaurant landscape. For more information, see Kessel.tv or read the details Stuttgart News as well as Mercury.
