Nature walk for young people: Discover Marbach on June 9th and 15th!
On June 2, 2025, there will be great anticipation for the upcoming nature walk with young people in Marbach-Hörnle. This event, held by Hörnle & Eichgraben Citizens' Association is organized, will take place on two dates: June 9th and June 15th, 2025. Both walks start at 2:15 p.m. and start from the Christophorus House in Marbach-Hörnle.
The nature walk takes participants through the picturesque districts of Eichgraben, Marbach-Hörnle and Marbach-Süd and ends in the boathouse in Marbach. These guided hikes are not just intended for young people, but are aimed at everyone who is interested, especially families and children. The tours are carried out by young people who have made it their mission to impart knowledge about their homeland and the surrounding nature.
Insights into nature and the districts
The tours are free, but a donation box is provided at the end to support the young people's voluntary work. According to the citizens' association, the guided tours are organized on a voluntary basis and offer participants valuable insights into the local flora and fauna. This is particularly important to increase awareness of nature and create a sense of community.
The route leads along the panoramic path to the Marbach boathouse and not only offers beautiful views, but also opportunities to learn a lot about the independent districts. Those responsible emphasize the relevance of such events, not only to spread knowledge, but also to actively involve children and young people in the community.
