There is exciting news for fans of the Hannover Indians in the ice hockey world's transfer market. The 21-year-old striker Alex Samusev is moving from the Stuttgart Rebels, a Oberliga Süd club, to the Indians am Pferdeturm. The move was announced today and marks an important step in the young talent's career. Ice Hockey News reports that Samusev scored one goal and provided eleven assists in 46 main round games last season. His performances have convinced Indians coach Raphaël Joly, who praises the striker's potential as well as his physical and playful intelligence.
Samusev has had an impressive junior career. In the 2021/22 season he scored 80 scorer points in the U20 of SC Bietigheim-Bissingen, while he collected 75 scorer points in the following season. These impressive numbers speak for themselves and show his great talent. In the 2023/24 season he was part of the professional squad of the Bietigheim Steelers (DEL2), but played with a sponsorship license for the Rebels, where he scored 16 points in 20 games.
New chapter for Samusev
For Samusev, the move to the Hannover Indians will be his first stop in the Oberliga Nord. He expressed enthusiasm about the challenges that lie ahead of him in Hanover. He is particularly motivated by the good atmosphere at the horse tower and the goal of developing further as a player. “I want to develop into a completely better player and achieve our goals with the team,” said Samusev in an interview.
Transfer from Matyas Stransky

Stransky was most recently active for ERC Sonthofen, where he scored six goals and six assists in twelve games in the 2024/25 season. His versatility, as he can be used both in attack and defense, makes him a valuable addition to the Füssen.
