A breathtaking spectacle took place this evening at the 59th runners' evening in Stammheim, which captivated the spectators! The return of Christian Dihmann from SV Oberkollbach after his injury break could hardly be more sensational! With a fantastic victory in 10:19.2 minutes, he left his fellow competitors amazed, clearly leaving second-placed Kai Robazcewski (VfL Ostelsheim) behind with 10:22.4 minutes. Wow! What a dramatic return!
The other impressive placings over the 3000 meters, which enraptured the spectators, are just as spectacular:

But the surprises don't end there! Catherine Malloy from TF Feuerbach ran a sensational 11:06.7 minutes and achieved an improvement of 8 seconds - a truly historic moment! The oldest participant, Esther Johnen-Ahsbahs (TV Oberhaugstett), proved with 12:07.6 minutes that age is just a number, while Arnold Paschke (LG Winterlingen) amazed everyone at the proud age of 77 (14:24.1 minutes). In addition to the spectacular performance in Stammheim, the track and field athletes showed true fighting spirit elsewhere: Jakob Ingebrigtsen from Norway celebrated his historic seventh European Indoor Championship title over 3000 meters! With a dizzying time of 7:48.37 minutes, he attacked the competition like a whirlwind. George Mills from Great Britain took the silver medal in the breathtaking final, while his compatriots Florian Bremm and Maximilian Thorwirth finished in the TOP 10, which is simply incredible overall!
