Last Sunday, the women of the Lopos Team VfL Waiblingen celebrated their first win of the season in BWTV Triathlonliga. The competition took place in Erbach and presented the athletes with the challenge of swimming 750 meters in the lake, followed by 20 kilometers cycling and running five kilometers. The Lopos ladies' team, led by Tabea Huber, had already performed well in the past competitions. They started with a ninth place in Karlsruhe and a fourth place in Echterdingen. The VfL Masters team, which also competed in Erbach, took second place in the master league, but had to give up again to TSV Calw.

The upcoming competitions show the variety of triathlon sports in the region. At the 31st edition of the Waiblingen triathlon, around 650 participants are expected, including 100 trikids and 140 starters of the 2nd league and the Masters League. Around 400 participants are also expected in the folk triathlon, which includes 500 meters of swimming, 20 kilometers of cycling and five kilometers running.
