In the tension of regional sports, SC Scharmede met TV Höxter in the Godelheim district league tennis match in Höxter. The game ended with an even 3:3, with the Höxterans only able to score points in the individual game through Moritz Gundelach. However, there were clear successes in the doubles: Sibila and Gundelach won without any problems, while the duo Spiegelberg and Rempe ultimately retained the upper hand 11:9 after a thrilling match tiebreak, as Westfalen-Blatt reports.
A few days earlier, on June 1, 2025, another sporting highlight was coming up in the Paderborn district league A. SC Ostenland played against SG Scharmede/Thüle and won with an impressive 5:2. The goals came at a rapid pace: Jonas Peterbus opened with a goal in the 12th minute, followed by Rene Naggatis in the 13th minute, who gave the team an early 2-0 lead. The guests from Scharmede/Thüle initially got within 2-1 before Merlin Hesmer equalized to make it 2-2 in the 54th minute. But SC Ostenland had the right answer ready and scored three more goals to make the final score 5:2, as NW states.
Clear victory and exciting twists
In the search for an optimal formation, SC Ostenland showed a strong team performance.
