On June 22, 2025, SV Kaisersbach was able to achieve an important victory in the relegation game against TV Aldingen and won 5-2. This success ensures the team will remain in the national football league for the coming season. SV Kaisersbach is now one of the four teams from the Rems-Murr district that remain in the state league, which is of great importance for the club. The performance against Aldingen was characterized by a high tempo on offense right from the start, and the team had hardly any problems with their opponents from the district league, reported ZVW.
The path to relegation was anything but easy for SV Kaisersbach. In the first round of relegation, which took place on June 14, 2025, Kaisersbach met TSV Gaildorf and won 3-2. The game was played in Winterbach and saw 648 spectators. Kaisersbach fell behind in the 26th minute due to a hand penalty, but the players were able to turn the game around with goals from Tim Schneidereit (35th, 53rd minute) and Selim Yücel (78th minute). Angelo Tulino equalized for Gaildorf in the 69th minute.
The path to the final game
TV Aldingen also made it into the final relegation game after winning 1-0 against TSV Pfedelbach in the first round. Brahim Santino Renz scored this decisive goal in the 85th minute. The game took place in Neuenstein in front of 400 spectators, and Aldingen also benefited from a red card for Hannes Fischle, which was given to Pfedelbach in the 79th minute. These two games led to Kaisersbach and Aldingen facing each other in the decisive duel to determine the final places in the state league, explained FuPa.
The relegation was played in two rounds to determine the additional promoted and relegated teams. Kaisersbach's dominant win against Aldingen confirmed the team's strength in this crucial phase of the season and secured their stay in the regional league for the coming season.
