Essingen is strengthening: new signing Leuze brings speed into the game!
TSV Essingen announces that Leon Leuze is moving to the club from SV Fellbach. The 21-year-old winger, who enjoyed his football training at TSG Hoffenheim, played in the league for SV Fellbach last season and scored one goal. After the departures of Dean Melo, Tim Seifert and Tim Ruth, Essingen was urgently looking for new wingers and found them. Leuze has signed a contract for the coming season. Coach Simon Köpf praises the newcomer's speed, dynamism and ability to score. In total, Leuze appeared on the pitch 18 times in his last league season. He can also look back on his time at SGV Freiberg in the Regionalliga Südwest, where he made 12 substitute appearances.
Leuze expressed his wish to remain injury-free and to help secure relegation early this season. It remains to be seen how he will find his way in the new team and strengthen TSV Essingen's strike options.
