Andrea Berg, the hit icon with over 30 years of experience in the music industry, has given rare insights into her relationship with daughter Lena-Maria. In the conversation, the 59-year-old singer described how important the connection is to her daughter, who was born in 1998 and, with a few exceptions, has hardly been seen in public since then. Lena-Maria, who has had the surname Ferber since her marriage in 2007, now lives with her boyfriend in North Rhine-Westphalia, about 400 kilometers from her mother. Despite this distance, the two manage to stay in touch almost daily via telephone and messenger, which underlines the close bond between them. Andrea Berg reports that they are regularly visited, both in their home town of Aspach and at their concerts.
Lena-Maria's last public appearance took place in 2012 on the ARD live show “Winter Festival of the Flying Stars”. She was still a child at the time and has since largely withdrawn from the public eye. In one report Andrea expressed that she kept her pregnancy a secret so as not to jeopardize her career. It was only in 2018 that she shared an Instagram post about a shared helicopter flight to Kilimanjaro, which made fans sit up and take notice. Planned reunion
The next meeting between the two is set for July 20, 2025, when Andrea Berg celebrates her 20th anniversary of the open-air festival “Heimspiel”. There is great anticipation for this special occasion, especially since Lena-Maria will also be taking part in the event. In the festive atmosphere of the festival, the mother-daughter team will definitely have a lot to talk about.
Andrea Berg's husband, Uli Ferber (65), is often at her side and supports her during her performances. His presence at the pop queen's side underlines the family connection within her life. While Lena-Maria lives in North Rhine-Westphalia, the connection to her mother remains strong, and both are looking forward to the planned meeting.
