Brutal beating attack in Sachsenheim: 15-year-old falls victim to youth gang!

In Sachsenheim, a town in the Ludwigsburg district, a brutal incident on Monday afternoon, June 24, 2025, shocked the local community. A 15-year-old was brutally beaten by a group of unknown young people in a schoolyard on Oberriexinger Strasse. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. when a group of seven to eight male youths approached the boy and dragged him towards a nearby cemetery on Kirchhofstrasse.

The group asked the 15-year-old to fight with a 14- to 15-year-old member of the group. This member, who was approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing a blue T-shirt and black sweatpants, confronted the boy. The 15-year-old fought back and was initially able to gain the upper hand. But the situation escalated when three to four other young people from the group intervened and beat him. After the violent confrontation, the entire group fled the scene.

Police investigations

The police have already started an investigation into this incident. The Sachsenheim police station is asking for information from witnesses. They can contact us by phone at 07147/27406-0 or by email at vaihingen-enz.prev@polizei.bwl.de. The severity of the incident and the fact that the attackers are still unknown raises questions about the safety of youth in the region.

The incident in Sachsenheim is not the only one that has caused a stir recently. On January 20, 2025, a 17-year-old was attacked at Sachsenheim train station by a group of young men who demanded money. In this case too, the young person was physically attacked when he tried to take out his wallet. However, an acquaintance of the victim was ultimately able to protect him by driving away the attackers. The 17-year-old suffered “not insignificant” injuries in this attack and had to be treated by the emergency services. According to Stuttgarter Nachrichten, the attackers were described as 18 to 20 years old and wore conspicuous clothing.

Security at the train station and in the city

The unpleasant incidents highlight the security situation in Sachsenheim and the surrounding area. On the same night that the 17-year-old was attacked, there was also another attack in Bietigheim-Bissingen, in which a 70-year-old was knocked down and robbed. A series of robberies at the train station in Bietigheim at the end of 2024 had already caused concern as passers-by were often victims of violence. The Criminal Police of the Ludwigsburg Police Headquarters is currently investigating all cases of aggravated robbery.

The events in Sachsenheim and other cities in the surrounding area require rapid action by the authorities to ensure safety for citizens, especially young people. The local community is required to come together and be vigilant to prevent such incidents in the future.
