Steinheimer Nicola Wulf: The ninja fighter of the hour!

The current season of “Ninja Warrior Germany” features a strong talent from Steinheim: 17-year-old Nicola Wulf, who is the defending champion in the women's competition, was able to present herself excellently in the first round. Loud Krzbb She dominated her group and safely qualified for the semi-finals. Wulf came 11th out of 40 participants and faced a wide variety of obstacles with great approval from the moderators, who described her as a “natural born ninja fighter”.

While Nicola Wulf got through the course safely and with ease and even mastered the lightning slide and the long ropes, her colleague Thomas Irawan, also from Steinheim, had a less successful performance. He had difficulties with the third obstacle and was eliminated early in the hanging and jumping courses. This participation was his first in the show, and despite his early elimination, the show attracted a lot of attention in Steinheim.

Steinheim as the center of ninja sports

Nicola Wulf's successes shed new light on the small town of Steinheim in the Ludwigsburg district, which is increasingly establishing itself as a center for ninja sports. Nicola trains daily in her room, often equipped with home-made equipment, to prepare for the challenges on the show. A special moment was the home story in which she was introduced. She impressed the audience, even though she lost her footing and slipped at the last obstacle, the kaleidoscope.

The first episode of the anniversary season was broadcast on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 8:15 p.m. on RTL. In total, around 40 ninjas will compete against each other on various obstacles this season. To get to the semi-finals, participants will have to complete the challenges on 8 different obstacles, including the bike path, the spin cycle and the Mega Wall 2.0, which will have a reward of EUR 5,000 if overcome.

The path to the final

An exciting finale awaits the best participants in the show. A hanging special will be broadcast on November 13, 2025, which will determine the direct path to the final. Ten participants from each preliminary round advance to the semi-finals. There are at least two women among them. The already filmed semi-final shows will be broadcast on RTL on November 22nd and 29th, before the final shows follow on December 6th and 13th. The whole season is also available in the live stream RTL+ available.

The show is not only a challenge for the participants, but also offers the Steinheim region the chance to consolidate itself as an important location in ninja sports. The mixture of excitement, sportiness and ambition captivates spectators and athletes alike.
