Music for a good cause: Benefit concert inspires in Ludwigsburg!

A very special charity concert under the motto “Children play for children” took place in Ludwigsburg, organized by the youth of the Oßweil music association in cooperation with the Ludwigsburg city band. How lkz.de reported, this concert had the aim of supporting the Liebenau Foundation, which has created new housing for around 20 children and young people with disabilities.

Patrick Dörken, youth leader of the Oßweil music club, welcomed the numerous guests and opened the evening. The opening performance was designed by the Crazy Music Kids under the direction of Rudi Artinger. The young musicians presented a variety of well-known film tunes, including the powerful interpretation of “Star Wars” and the interactive piece “Ghostbusters”, in which the audience was actively involved. This was followed by the gentle harmonies of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” and a powerful finale with “Eye of the Tiger”. Rudi Artinger was recognized for his five-year leadership of Crazy Music Kids before handing over his position to a successor.

Diverse performances by young people

The program continued with a recorder performance led by Michaela Haug-Lutz. The first year group performed pieces such as “Au clair de la lune” and “We are two musicians”, while the second group performed “Brother Jakob” and “Lobet und preiset”.

The youth wind orchestra JuBO under the direction of Stefan Krahl got the audience moving with “St. Petersburg March” by Johnnie Vinson and the “Shalom! Suite of Israeli Folk Songs” by Philip Sparke. The tribute to Louis Armstrong was characterized by its swinging charm. The dramatic climax was “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” and the finale was the captivating “Fascinating Drums” by Ted Huggens.

Joint finale and support for a good cause

A joint finale by the recorder children and the two youth orchestras crowned the evening with “Recorder Ghost” by Ivo Kouwenhoven and the musical rain dance “Rain Dance”, which unfolded mysterious sounds. As with other charity concerts, such as the one organized by the Rückhalt Foundation to support people in need, this event is not only like a musical journey, but also takes the audience into a world of good. Entrance fees go entirely to the foundation, which looks after the well-being of people in need stiftung-rueckhalt.de notes.

Such events not only promote talent, but also make an important contribution to the community. The tradition of enjoying music and doing good at the same time is kept alive by the commitment of the young musicians and the support of the audience.
