The 40th Welzheim Triathlon is just around the corner and promises once again a spectacular sporting event. On Saturday, June 28, 2025, sports enthusiasts will compete at the Aichstrutsee in Welzheim from 12 p.m. The event is organized by the TSF Welzheim and attracts participants from the entire region.
The registration numbers are already showing a positive response; many athletes have already registered. Participants will receive comprehensive information about the start, transition and finish areas, and traffic disruptions are to be expected and will be communicated in good time.
Conditions of participation and competitions
Registration for the triathlon takes place in different categories. For the individual competition, the entry fee is only 30 euros until February 29, 2024, after which it increases to 35 euros. In the team competitions, also taking place on June 28th, teams must consist of three people who share the disciplines of swimming, cycling and running. The entry fee here is 50 euros until February 29, 2024 and 55 euros from March 1, 2024.
A special highlight is the Welzheimer Cup, which is reserved for amateur athletes. The requirement for participation is a minimum age of 16 years and belonging to a city team from Welzheim or the surrounding area. The same entry fee applies here as in the team competitions.
