SENSATION in the Rems-Murr district: Prevention project Crazy? So what!” starts!
Unbelievable! In a courageous step to combat the increasing psychological problems among young people in the Rems-Murr district, the sensational prevention project "Crazy? So what!" started! [Zvw.de]. Organized by a phenomenal team including Klaus Kaiser, Daniel Barschtipan, Valerie Binder and Matthias Hefker, this great effort is being made to remove widespread mental illness from the taboo topic list!
But what is really behind this project? According to the alarming findings of the association Irrsinnsinnlich e. V., who has been fighting for the mental health of young people for over 15 years, one in five children in Germany already shows symptoms of a mental disorder! Seelischegesundheit.info reveals that adolescence is a critical phase in which mental illnesses, addictions and self-harming behavior increase dramatically! The reasons are obvious: years pass before those affected seek help - and this is mainly due to fear of stigmatization!
A project of immense importance
"Crazy? So what!" has set itself the ambitious goal of promoting communication about mental health crises in the classroom and drastically shortening the time to help! In 2017, an incredible 18,000 students took part in School Mental Health Days, and the program received the coveted PHINEO Impact Seal! Kkh.de reports on how the German Center for Prevention Research and Mental Health was founded in 2019 to develop innovative programs to reduce mental illness!
The commitment of these organizations is incomparable! BARMER has established itself as a nationwide prevention partner, and in cooperation with regional actors it is ensured that help arrives where it is needed most!
Shocking statistics and their consequences
The explosive figures speak for themselves: one in five children already shows signs of a mental disorder! The consequences for the future of future generations could be catastrophic if action is not taken quickly! Young people are particularly vulnerable - and that must change!
It's high time we talked about these well-hidden problems! "Crazy? So what!" is not just a project - it is a cry for help and understanding! Young people deserve the opportunity to talk about their problems without fear of judgment.
So if you think that mental health is not important or that young people are not affected - then you are very mistaken! We must end the drama of mental illnesses together!
