Police discover eleven bags with mysterious goods in Dülmen!
On Friday afternoon, May 30, 2025, the Münster motorway police made an unusual discovery in a commuter parking lot in Dülmen. At around 3:00 p.m., officers checked a vehicle and found eleven garbage bags filled with various goods. This reports Tixio.
The occupants of the vehicle, a 33-year-old Romanian and a 31-year-old Romanian woman, were unable to plausibly explain where the goods came from during the inspection. The woman was wearing an apron, a piece of clothing used to store items inconspicuously. This could indicate that the goods found were not legally acquired, which is supported by the nature of the items discovered.
Diverse contents of the garbage bags
Items found in the trash bags included products such as toothpaste, coffee, nuts, toothbrushes and shampoo. Some of the bags were open, which further strengthens the suspicion that the goods may have been shoplifted. Despite the investigations so far, the exact origin of the items is still unclear News.de reported.
In view of the situation, the police have confiscated the discovered goods and are appealing to possible owners for information. These can be left directly with the Dülmen police on 02594-7930. The investigation is ongoing and witnesses are being sought who may be able to provide information on the origin of the goods.
