Music magic in Bönnigheim: children experience pirate adventures and more!

In Bönnigheim, an exciting music culture weekend is imminent. From July 3 to July 6, 2025, the city expects numerous musical events, within the framework of which over 200 participants from the municipal music school and the Musikverein Stadtkapelle present their skills. City music director Rainer Falk takes over the management, who with this event stages a shop window for young musical work. The program is diverse and promises something for every musical taste.

On Friday morning, 150 children from the “Singing - Moving - Playing” program open to a musical pirate adventure in the castle. You are given the opportunity to try out different instruments. On Friday evening at 8:30 p.m. there is the event "The castle courtyard rocks!" on the program. Here Matthias Leucht, teachers of the music school and special guest appear and entertain with music styles such as jazz, rock, pop and soul. Admission to this event is free.

The "Bönnigheimer Nachtmusik" will be held on Saturday evening. From 7 p.m. in the historic old town, 15 formations will play on five podiums for 20 minutes each. The end of the city band's concert at 10 p.m. in the castle courtyard is concluded. Admission to this concert is 7 euros, for children up to 16 years of age.

Sunday offers another highlight with an open day in the school center from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Under the motto "Discover my talent", pupils and teachers present various instruments. There is also an instrument exhibition and advice for interested young musicians. The cultural café in the auditorium of the Alfred-Amann-Gymnasium is also open during the event.

The end of the music culture weekend is the chamber music event "Stringers in the castle" on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. Under the overall management of Angelika Wollasch, works for violin, viola, cello and double bass are listed. The program includes:
