Insight into “Young Woman with Cat”

In “Young Woman with Cat” Dröscher tells the story of Ela, a protagonist who stands in the shadow of her mother. It addresses the physical and psychological challenges Ela faces, including a breakdown shortly before completing her doctorate. The novel deals intensively with identity and self-discovery and promises to captivate readers emotionally.

The reading is a continuation of Dröscher's commitment to literature and her contact with her audience. She will already be delighting listeners in the local library in 2023, which makes her return particularly appealing.
