A fiery incident occurred in Hemmingen on Saturday morning, alerting local authorities. Unknown people set fire to a wooden hut at a sports facility on Eberdinger Strasse. Large plumes of smoke billowed into the sky and were reported by passers-by around 7 a.m. The fire brigade was quickly on site and was able to quickly extinguish the fire, reports Stuttgart News.
The police assume that the perpetrators deliberately set fire to parts of the wooden hut. Damage was discovered to the top case of a BMW motorcycle parked nearby, although the exact cost of the damage is currently unknown.
