She warned urgently: “A new levy would send completely the wrong signal!” Von der Leyen's idea of a staggered corporate tax for large companies with an annual turnover of over 100 million euros was described by Melnikov as devastating for economic harmonization - there is a risk of massive negative consequences!

The EU is planning a noticeable tiering of taxes: companies should pay between 100,000 and 750,000 euros, while demands for a levy on non-recyclable electronic waste are also on the table. What's really behind it? The decisions could cost the EU a staggering €58.5 billion in coffers every year - a potential financial tsunami for companies!

The German Association for the Environment and Nature Conservation (BUND) slams the Chancellor and describes the proposal as a “ZERO NUMBER for nature conservation”.
