From June 22, 2025, road users in Bietigheim-Bissingen and Sachsenheim must expect significant disruptions. The reason for this is extensive construction work to widen the roadway, which is expected to last until October 3, 2025. The construction work extends over the L1125, which is affected in both Bietigheim-Bissingen and Sachsenheim. On Oberriexinger Straße in Sachsenheim, a stopping ban will be introduced between Hohe Straße and Fuchsweg from June 23, 2025. During the construction work, both cars and trucks must expect diversions, which require additional travel times.
Details about the diversions
The diversions for traffic on the L1125 are as follows:
- Umleitung über Frankfurter Straße – Bietigheimer Straße – Großingersheimer Straße (3 km/4 Minuten länger)
- Umleitung über Schwarzwaldstraße – Auwiesenstraße – Auwiesenbrücke – Stuttgarter Straße – Karl-Mai-Allee – Löchgauer Straße – Königstraße – Hohenhaslacher Straße (14,3 km/15 Minuten länger)
Car traffic will be particularly affected by the widening in various places. The individual construction sites are described as follows:
- L1125 in Bietigheim-Bissingen: 253 m, Durchfahrtsbreite 3,25 m.
- Schwarzwaldstraße / L1125 in Bietigheim-Bissingen: 253 m, Durchfahrtsbreite 6,50 m.
- Oberriexinger Straße / L1125 in Sachsenheim: Haltverbot und Umleitungen ab dem 23. Juni 2025.
Renovation of the B 27
In addition to the construction work on the L1125, renovation work is currently taking place on the B 27 in Bietigheim-Bissingen. These began on May 5, 2025 and extend over several construction phases.
