Stefan Mross and Eva Luginger: Romantic beer garden date in Munich!
Stefan Mross, the popular pop star, visited Munich on a sunny afternoon before the start of his new show “Always on Sundays”, which premieres on June 15th on ARD. The show will air for twelve episodes until August 31st. Mross, 49, and his partner Eva Luginger, 37, enjoyed a relaxing time in the beer garden at Viktualienmarkt. On Instagram, Mross shared a picture of them in which Eva was holding Bavarian playing cards depicting the King of Hearts. He noted: “Cards say more than 1000 words!”, which generated positive reactions on social media.
The relationship between Mross and Luginger was made public in 2023 after Mross separated from his ex-wife Anna-Carina Woitschack, 32. Eva Luginger, who took a break from her pop career some time ago, is now supporting Mross in his career. Her last appearance on stage was the “Schlagernacht” event. However, it won't be long before she makes a comeback: In winter she will take part in the Christmas tour “Klingende Bergweihnacht”.
Tour and engagement
Luginger will play five dates on the tour, with performances taking place in different cities:
- 18.12. Mosbach
- 19.12. Uhingen
- 20.12. Bad Brückenau
- 21.12. Bad Saulgau
- 22.12. Günzburg
The organizer Lothar Böhler from artmedia management & more confirmed her participation, with Luginger filling in for a fellow musician. Stefan Mross will also be part of this tour, which is his only hit tour announced so far for 2025.
Beer garden culture in Munich
While the two of them lingered in the beer garden, the cultural value of such places in Bavaria is repeatedly discussed. The beer garden revolution of 1995, which was supported by up to 30,000 people, and the preservation of beer garden culture is an important concern. At that time, a protest was organized to protest against the early curfew. Politicians from all major parties supported the demands, and the Bavarian Beer Garden Ordinance, which still applies today, allows music to be played until 10 p.m. and the last beer to be poured until 10:30 p.m.
The preservation of the beer garden culture is reflected not only in the laws, but also in the provision of places where people can come together and celebrate. For Mross and Luginger, the visit to the beer garden was a successful break and a sign of how valuable such traditions are.
