Enjoy the sweet fruits of Dong Nai: Culinary Week 2025!

Dong Nai, a province in southern Vietnam, is preparing for an exciting time in June 2025. From June 22 to 24, the Culture, Tourism and Culinary Week (VHDLAT) 2025 will be held at Duong Tu Giang Park. Local fruit and cultural specialties are presented under the motto “Dong Nai Tourism – to the land of sweet fruits”. This event aims to highlight the region's rich agriculture and culinary delights while attracting tourists and promoting ecological tourism. VHDLAT Week will provide an opportunity to taste and purchase seasonal fruits, including geographically protected and organically grown varieties.

The province's orchards have become particularly active in recent weeks. So, gardeners in Long Khanh, Xuan Loc, Thong Nhat and Vinh Cuu districts have successfully completed the landscaping of their miniature gardens. The Green Durian Garden, which opened in May 2025, is owner Mr. Dang Ngoc Huy's second orchard in Xuan Loc. This garden serves regional dishes prepared with produce from surrounding orchards. Garden owner Mr. Tran Quoc Phong also reports weather-related changes that affect cooling in his orchards.

Ecotourism in Dong Nai

In addition to the upcoming events, the province is enjoying great popularity among tourists who want to enjoy the diverse ecotourism offerings. Among the top ten ecotourism destinations in Dong Nai is Buu Long Ecotourism Park, about 6 km from the center of Bien Hoa. It offers impressive scenery reminiscent of the famous Ha Long Bay and exciting leisure activities such as roller coasters and 7D cinemas. Families with children will be well entertained at the Mango Garden Ecotourism Park, where extensive meadows and numerous activities such as ostrich riding and a swimming pool await them.

The Golden Scorpion Ecotourism Park, on the other hand, is famous for its yellow scorpion flowers and the opportunity to enjoy exciting activities such as zip-lining and boating. Finally, the Cat Tien National Park, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, attracts with animal watching and numerous hiking opportunities.

Fruit and seasons

An interesting detail for fruit specialists and enthusiasts: The rambutan season started earlier than usual this year and extends over three main fruit periods: from the end of April to May 20th, the first ten days of June and from mid-June to August. In the gardens, tourists can enjoy local fruit specialties, with some gardens such as Ut Tieu and Di Hai already open to visitors since April 30. The diversity of fruit varieties and the inclusion in the upcoming VHDLAT week illustrate the importance of the agricultural sector in this region.

Overall, there are numerous offers available to tourists in Dong Nai that enable them to experience nature up close, get to know the local culture and enjoy the region's unique culinary specialties. The proximity to the above-mentioned events and the wide range of leisure options make Dong Nai an ideal destination for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Vietnam.
