Muusika heals, the forest refreshes: free concerts in Gołuchów!

In the coming weeks, the picturesque town of Gołuchów will be the venue for two unique concerts under the motto “Muzyka leczy, las uzdrawia”. The Orkiestra Kameralna Wielkopolskiej Izby Lekarskiej “Operacja Muzyka” will perform on June 28th and 29th, 2025 and promises to delight the audience with a varied program.

The concerts will take place at the following times and locations: June 28th at 6:00 p.m. on the Plac Podworski and on June 29th at 4:00 p.m Muzeum Leśnictwa – Powozownia. Admission to these events is free, making the performance accessible to anyone interested.

A program full of diversity

The concert program includes classical works, modern compositions and entertaining pieces that are thematically linked to the forest. This musical concept underlines the close connection between nature and art, which is very important in the Gołuchów region.

The Orkiestra Kameralna was founded in 2006 and has been active since then under the leadership of Dobrochna Martenka. Since 2007, she has led the ensemble, which consists of doctors from various disciplines and talented students. Their performances range from church concerts to performances in larger venues such as Aula UAM and Teatr Narodowy in Warsaw.

Important appearances and cultural promotion

In the past, the Orkiestra has taken part in notable projects, including “Miłosierdzie Boże” by Zbigniew Małkowicz in the Poznań Cathedral in 2014 and “Tryptyk rzymski” by Piotr Pałka in 2015. The cultural sponsors associated with the event are the Wójt Gminy Gołuchów and the Gołuchowskie Centrum Kultury Zamek, who together help strengthen the connection between music and the environment.

Overall, the “Muzyka leczy, las uzdrawia” concerts provide a valuable opportunity for the community to participate in cultural events and experience the healing powers of music and nature. Visitors are warmly invited to be inspired and enjoy the atmosphere of the concerts.
