Welver in bun fever: Bakery Neuhaus starts mobile service!

The Neuhaus bakery in Welver has introduced a new service offer: From now on, the community can receive fresh bread rolls from the bakery truck on Saturdays. This was announced after Kai Papke, who has taken over the bakery from the Neuhaus family for three years, announced the initiative plans. The new bread roll service starts at 6:30 a.m. and extends to the villages of Dorfwelver, Dinker, Vellinghausen, Norddinker, Illingen, Wambeln, Scheidingen, Flerke, Schwefe and Nehlerheide. The last stop is at 11 a.m., allowing residents to have their fresh baked goods delivered straight to their doorstep. The popularity of the weekly service is also reflected in the existing offers on Wednesdays and Fridays, which have met with a positive response from customers, as soester-anzeiger.de reports.

In addition to this new offer, the branch on the market square in Welver was made more accessible again after extensive construction work. To make the stay more pleasant for customers, tables and chairs were set up in front of the bakery. This means that visitors can not only buy their baked goods, but also relax with a cup of coffee and cake on site.

Service times and availability

The Neuhaus bakery has extensive opening hours on weekdays. As onlinestreet.de notes, the bakery is open Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The bakery is also open to customers on Sundays from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The bakery, which has been run by Kai and Michelle Papke since April 2022, has now built up a permanent customer base in the area. In particular, the expanded supply to the villages since March 2024 has helped to strengthen the local bakery market in Welver.

The charming community of Welver, where the Neuhaus bakery is located, is not only known for its baked goods. It is also a stop on the Hamm–Soest railway line, which has been in operation since 1991. The historical atmosphere is underlined by the listed churches such as the Protestant Church of St. Albanus and Cyriacus and the Catholic parish church of St. Bernhard. The latter and other attractions make Welver an appealing destination for visitors and locals.

Kai Papke's decision to further expand the Neuhaus bakery shows not only entrepreneurial courage, but also a commitment to the community. With the new bread roll service and the friendly on-site premises, the bakery is sending a strong signal of solidarity with the region and its residents. It will be exciting to see how the offering will develop in the future.
