Hellfest Corner in Paris closes: One last evening full of memories!

The metal scene in Paris has suffered a bitter loss: the Hellfest Corner, a popular meeting place for fans of metal music, is finally closing. This was announced on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The bar, which opened in the Les Halles district in 2019, was known for its special decoration reminiscent of the famous Hellfest festival and attracted numerous celebrity guests, including Bruce Dickinson and Igorrr. The last evening in the bar is planned for Thursday, June 26, 2025, a time to share memories and say goodbye.

The operators point to significant difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges, the facility hosted a variety of events and meet-and-greets with artists, and there was a shop for merchandise, vinyl and books in the basement. Over the years, Hellfest Corner has gained a loyal fan base and has gone down in history as a central part of metal culture in Paris.

Special features and activities

For those interested in metal events, Hellcity Square could provide an appealing setting. The square is equipped with food trucks, shops and bars and invites festival goers to share experiences. To gain access, festival goers must put on a wristband, which also grants access to special activities. The Metal Corner at the entrance to the campsite also offers a selection of food stalls and a dance floor, adding to the atmosphere of the festival.

At the Metal Corner, visitors can also take part in various activities, including yoga workshops and DJ sets, spread throughout the days of the festival. The HellStage, set up in Hellcity Square, promises concerts from 21 different bands, while daily performances in the Hellcage provide additional entertainment. These initiatives attempt to create a distinctive festival feeling and somewhat cushion the loss of the Hellfest Corner.

Secure storage options

Festival visitors can also look forward to secure storage options for personal items. Casiers (lockers) are available, which are divided into two areas: one is the lockers under the tent with time-limited access via PIN code and the other is the container with 24/7 access. Reservations for the lockers are possible via the festival's partner site.

The lockers are available in different sizes, giving visitors flexibility in storing their things. The opening times vary and are well defined, ensuring ideal planning for a carefree festival visit.

Although the Hellfest Corner in Paris will close, the memory of this important point of contact in the metal scene remains. Their importance to the community and artists will not be forgotten.
