In the regional league, TV Plochingen suffered another defeat at the weekend. In the game against SG Weinstadt, the team lost 24:33 after the game had already ended 12:18 for the hosts at halftime. In the opening minutes the game was balanced and after 15 minutes the score was 8:8. But as the encounter progressed, Plochingen was unable to keep up and defended itself in vain against the rhythm of the game from Weinstadt, who continually extended their lead.
After the game, assistant coach Tim Hamann commented on the challenges the team faces. He emphasized that the team is in a development process and such games are normal. In addition to this defeat in front of a home crowd, the previous encounter against TSV Heiningen was also unfortunate, as Plochingen lost 26:28.
