Next Sunday, June 29, 2025, the summer market “Gartentraum Ostfildern” will take place in Scharnhauser Park. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors can look forward to a wide range of garden and nature offerings. The event is organized by the Ostfildern municipal cultural office in collaboration with the district's fruit and horticultural associations.
The market is aimed at gardening enthusiasts and families and offers a variety of attractions. Among other things, handicrafts are exhibited, there are gardening supplies and informative stands about natural gardens as well as raised beds and beekeeping. The focus is also on products from the herbal workshop as well as home-made products from orchards.
Participatory activities and food
There are numerous hands-on activities for younger visitors, such as planting flower pots and making herbal salt. But adults can also put their craftsmanship to the test. When choosing food, guests can expect a sophisticated offering: visitors can make themselves comfortable on deck chairs and enjoy organic ice cream, cakes and Italian coffee specialties.
In the event of inclement weather, an alternative date for the market has been set for July 27, 2025, allowing organizers to respond flexibly to ensure a pleasant experience for visitors.
