UK relies on collaboration with Andhra Pradesh for Amaravati development!
On June 26, 2025, Gareth Wynn Owen, the British Deputy High Commissioner for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and Dr. P Narayana, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, in Amaravati. The main objective of this meeting was to strengthen cooperation between the UK and the state of Andhra Pradesh, particularly in the key areas of infrastructure and urban development. The UK is committed to contributing to the revival of Amaravati as the state capital through this partnership. A notable point was that the designs for the city's iconic buildings were created by renowned British architect Norman Foster.
