The dental laboratory was founded in 1976 and moved from Stuttgart to Hardt in 2005 after the former Sternenlokal restaurant closed in 2004. Company founder Heinz-Jürgen Fehmer, who is married to Annegret Bub-Fehmer and is responsible for the accounting and organization of the laboratory, has shaped the company from the beginning. In 2016, the laboratory merged with that of Emanuel Fernandes, who has served as managing director ever since.
