Colorful weekend: From fire brigade festival to folkival in Kirchheim!

On Friday, September 19, 2025, the Stuttgart region can expect a variety of exciting events. Michael Hock will be performing in the Reuschwald beer garden in Nabern from 7 p.m. There will also be a poetry slam on Friday at Club Bastion in Kirchheim. Culture and festivities

The Folkival at Club Kuckucksei in Nürtingen opens on Friday with artists such as Thomas Nature, Duo Stout and Fan Fire. Admission begins at 5:30 p.m., the first performance starts at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, September 20th, Sebastian Barwinek, Christian Reiter, Skelpt, Spellbound and Bailé will continue the festival, with entry opening at 5 p.m., as [Teckbote] further reports.

The fire brigade festival will also take place in Hochdorf on Friday, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the volunteer fire brigade. The keg tapping is scheduled for 7 p.m., followed by a Wasen party with Mickie Krause and Just for Fun. On Saturday it continues with a village game by the youth fire brigades from 10 a.m., followed by a colorful evening with Wolfgang Selje and Rumors from 7 p.m.

Special culinary experiences can be enjoyed at the city festival in Göppingen on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., where the focus is on Italian specialties.

A variety of activities on the weekend

For music lovers, an organ concert on Saturday at 8 p.m. in the St. Cyriakus collegiate church in Bad Boll offers works by Bach and Widor. Admission is free, but donations are requested. In addition, World Children's Day will be celebrated on Saturday from 12 p.m. in the Reuschwald beer garden with a varied program.

The Youth Matters festival against child poverty takes place on Saturday from 11 a.m. on the SPV 05 Nürtingen sports field in Roßdorf.
