The fire completely affected a thuja hedge over a length of 50 meters. A similar case in which negligent actions resulted in serious injuries occurred in 2015, when a man sprayed liquid grill lighter on live coals and set a person's clothing on fire. This person suffered severe burns and required lengthy treatment, which led to a lawsuit. The defendant was convicted for his negligent actions and had to pay high claims for damages, as RA Kotz reports.
