On Wednesday, July 3, 2025, a traffic accident in Nürtingen occurred around 3:10 p.m. in the Esslingen district, in which an 18-year-old cyclist injured. The young woman took the right of Audi, whose driver is 40 years old, the right of way and overlooked them, which led to a collision. The driver could no longer react in time, so that the cyclist fell and suffered minor injuries.
The emergency services were immediately alerted and transferred the cyclist to a hospital for treatment. The property damage caused by the accident is estimated at around 1000 euros, such as the Esslinger Zeitung reported.
Another accident in Nürtingen
On the same day, there was a second incident in Nürtingen, which, however, took place at the intersection between Heiligkreuzstraße and Hechinger Strasse around 3:30 p.m. Here a 45-year-old cyclist was overlooked by an 80-year-old driver when she drove with an Opel towards the town hall. The cyclist fell through the impact to the ground and also suffered minor injuries.
The rescue team also supplied this cyclist at the scene of the accident before being taken to a hospital. Unlike in the first case, the driver was not injured. The property damage to the two vehicles was around 2000 euros, such as the Stuttgartter News report.
