Felix Stumpf wins bronze at the German vintage championships!

Felix Stumpf from VfL Sindelfingen showed an impressive performance at the German Vintage Championships in Berlin. The talented swimmer secured the bronze medal in the 400 meter individual medley, thereby cementing his place among the best young swimmers in Germany. A total of 15 swimmers from VfL Sindelfingen, aged between 7 and 12 years old from 2007 to 2012, took part in an exciting competition.

VfL Sindelfingen was able to record 54 starts at the championship, which meant a large number of personal best times and finals for the athletes. Coach Bernhard Kömpf was extremely satisfied with the performance of his team, which had prepared for the competition through intensive training. Further successes for the Sindelfingen team

In addition to Felix Stumpf, other swimmers from VfL Sindelfingen were also successful at the German All-Around Swimming Championships in 2012 and 2013 in Braunschweig. The fastest 80 swimmers in the 200 meter individual medley were nominated, and the athletes had the opportunity to compete in various strokes such as butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke or free crawl.

The special achievements of the Sindelfingen swimmers included several top placings in their age groups. Felix Stumpf and Lia Berner, both born in 2012, achieved 5th place in their respective disciplines, while Cece Gregory took 10th place. Leonie Gsell, born in 2013, took 16th place.
