Colorful works of art: Maichingen celebrates the creativity of the children!
In Maichingen, the award of the works of art was recently awarded, which were created as part of the “six meters for a hundred ideas” painting competition. Organized by the Wohnstätten Sindelfingen, the competition stretched over May 2024 and attracted numerous young talents. Four primary schools as well as eight kindergartens and daycare centers from the area took part in this creative project. Each group was assigned a stacked area on a wooden wall over six meters long, on which the children could let their creativity run free. The result is an impressive, colorful total work of art that not only reflects the variety of ideas, but also emphasizes the community's sense of community and teamwork.
At the presentation of the works of art, Georgios Tsomidis, the managing director of the Wohnstätten Sindelfingen, commented extremely positively about the results and creativity of the children. In order to honor the use of the four groups, a total of 1500 euros were handed over to the participants. The award took place in the presence of young artists from the Kita Allmendäcker and the Johannes-Widmann Community School, with representatives of the daycare and school as well as the head of office Timo Plankenhorn. The painting competition as a platform for children
The painting competition is not just a unique event, but also represents an important platform for the long -term promotion of children and adolescents. According to the website of the Children's painting competition , it is an interactive and non -profit competition in which children and adolescents of all ages are invited with their pictures. The choice of motif is free, which enables the little artists to develop creatively.
The submitted works are carefully processed and presented for assessment by a specialist jury that consists of local and nationally known artists. This jury selects the best contributions and gives prices. A particularly attractive feature of the competition is the prize money, which includes a total of 4,000 euros for the creative facilities of the winners. Up to 2000 euros of this can be used for the creative equipment of the kindergarten or school, while the other 2000 euros benefit from the winning child or the parents.
strengthening creative education
The competition aims to promote the children's creativity and improve the material equipment of daycare centers and schools. All surpluses of the competition flow into these facilities to further expand the creative offer. In addition, the ten best children receive long -term funding grants that can be used, for example, in youth art schools. This support largely depends on donations and the commitment of volunteers who make the event alive and successfully.
