Febvre and Längenfelder dominate at MXGP and MX2 in Latvia!

The MXGP of Latvia took place on June 8, 2025, where the riders of the FIM Motocross World Championship once again demonstrated their skills. Crossnews reports on the current rankings of the drivers and teams.

In the daily ranking of the MXGP, Romain Febvre showed an outstanding performance with 530 points and is therefore clearly leading the ranking. Lucas Coenen follows him with 504 points, while G. Coldenhoff, Maxime Renaux and R. Fernandez complete the top five.

In addition to the daily results, Simon Längenfelder leads the overall MX2 standings with 515 points. MXGP Results describes that Längenfelder is 27 points ahead of second-placed Andrea Adamo, who has collected 488 points. Kay de Wolf, Liam Everts and Sacha Coenen round out the MX2 top five.

The manufacturer's championship is also exciting to watch. KTM clearly leads with 602 points, followed by Husqvarna with 540 points and Yamaha with 412 points. The detailed manufacturer statistics shows that Triumph, Honda, Kawasaki and TM also scored significant points.

Overall, the MXGP of Latvia offered a thrilling race in which the riders gave their best and exciting twists and turns were seen. With the races approaching, it remains to be seen whether the leading riders will be able to defend their place at the top or whether new talent will emerge. The fight for the titles this year remains exciting and unpredictable.
